Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026
This policy explains what personal data kbshelf (operated by Albion Ltda) processes and why.
1. Account data
When you sign up we store your name, e-mail address, a hash of your password, and the workspaces you belong to. We use it to run your account, send transactional e-mail (sign-in links, invitations, receipts) and provide support.
2. Billing
Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive the subscription status, plan and the billing details you give Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
3. Visitors of help centers
Help centers published with kbshelf do not set cookies and do not use third-party trackers. When a visitor votes on an article or searches, we store the vote or the search words with a salted, one-way hash of the network address (to stop abuse and double votes), never the address itself.
4. Our marketing site: cookies and analytics
kbshelf.com counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and no personal identifiers. We also use Google Analytics with Consent Mode: until you click “Accept” in the cookie bar it sets no cookies and receives only anonymous, cookie-less signals; if you accept, it may set analytics cookies (never advertising ones) to count returning visits. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer. Signed-in pages of the app are never measured.
The app itself uses one strictly necessary cookie (your session) and no tracking.
5. Processors
- Hetzner (servers, Germany/Finland) — application and database hosting
- Cloudflare — CDN, storage of published sites and custom domain certificates
- Stripe — payments
- Resend — transactional e-mail
- Google — website analytics (only with your consent for cookies)
6. Retention
We keep account data while your account exists and delete it within 30 days after you close it, except records we must keep by law (such as invoices). Visitor feedback and search statistics are kept for up to 24 months.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and object to its processing, by writing to [email protected]. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
