Terms of Service
Last updated: November 2, 2026
These terms govern your use of kbshelf (the “Service”), operated by Albion Ltda (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the organisation you represent.
1. The Service
kbshelf lets you write help articles and publish them as a hosted help center and an embeddable widget. We may improve, change or discontinue features; we will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce what you pay for.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials safe.
- You must give accurate information and be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
- The workspace owner controls who can edit and is responsible for billing.
3. Trial, plans and payment
- New workspaces start with a 14-day free trial without a payment method.
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Prices are listed on the pricing page and exclude taxes where applicable.
- You can cancel at any time in the billing portal; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. We do not refund partial months unless the law requires it.
- If a trial ends or a subscription lapses, publishing pauses and published sites may be taken offline after 7 days. Your content remains available to you for at least 30 days.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the articles, images and other content you upload (“Customer Content”). You grant us the licence needed to host, process, display and distribute it to provide the Service. You can export or delete your content at any time.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to publish unlawful, infringing, deceptive or malicious content, to send spam, to attack other systems, or to circumvent plan limits. We may suspend content or accounts that break these rules.
6. Custom domains
You must control the domains you connect. Certificates are issued on your behalf through our infrastructure provider and are removed when you disconnect the domain.
7. Availability and support
We work to keep the Service available and published sites fast, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Support is provided by e-mail at [email protected].
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is”, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that materially breach these terms, with notice where reasonable.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
